Prince Rupert Community Band

The Prince Rupert Community Band comprises about 25 amateur woodwind, brass and percussion players of all ages.  The band plays at many civic events including Seafest, Canada Day and Winterfest and performs in concert on its own or with S.D. #52 school bands or the Prince Rupert Rotary Community Choir.  The band is directed by Peter Witherly and rehearses regularly on Mondays at 7:30 PM in the Charles Hays Secondary School Bandroom.  Rehearsals for the 2009/10 season begin Monday, September 7, 2009; new members are always welcome and there are no auditions required.  For further information contact Dawn Quast by email dquast@citytel.net  or phone 250-624-6450.
