About Us

The Prince Rupert Community Arts Council is run by a volunteer board with members committed to helping coordinate the work and programs of cultural groups in the City of Prince Rupert and outlying areas.

Founded in 1971, the PRCAC is an active force behind promoting and fostering arts and culture in Prince Rupert.

Annually the arts council hosts the Kaien Island Craft Fair in November and a monthly film series (Thursday Night at the Movies) with films from Film Circuit, a Division of the Toronto International Film Festival Group. Member assistant grants and scholarships are awarded annually.
